Engineering Technician

Reporting to the Senior Engineering Team your responsibilities include providing support to the engineering and lab team on part design and manufacturing documentation, tooling orders, production trials, tool inspection, and product testing. Engineering technicians also support key continuous improvement projects led by the engineering, quality, and operations teams.

As a successful candidate for the position, you will have strong problem solving skills, an attention to detail, and be an effective communicator. You will be a resourceful and resilient individual who meets challenges with enthusiasm and a sense of urgency. You will pride yourself on achieving accurate results on-time and will enjoy working with a diverse team of highly motivated people focused on the company’s success.  Ideally, you will have some prior technical experience effectively working in a manufacturing environment.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

To be considered for this opportunity, please have the following capabilities:

  • Minimum 1 year work experience in a Manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in reading blueprints, CAD, understanding and interpreting engineering terminology
  • Proficient in Excel (required), use of databases, MS Office and learning new software tools
  • Strong analytic and problem solving capabilities
  • Ability to work independently
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
